2012 Japan Open victory
[edit]There reads: Nishikori's win was historic as he became the first Japanese man to win the Japan Open in its 41 year history.
There is a source, bu apparently it is wrong, because Japan Open article has Japanese Toshiro Sakai as the first winner in 1972.
ATP tournament page has this: In 2012, Kei Nishikori became its first homegrown singles champion. and they have winners only from 1974 on. Something is not right, I think. 82.141.64.214 (talk) 02:12, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
New article
[edit]I think the career statistics have gotten long enough that it now seems to create a Kei Nishikori career statistics page and move them there. Tad Lincoln (talk) 04:39, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
Agree,see also Eugenie Bouchard career statistics.--Chinyen Lu (talk) 07:44, 2 April 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:Kei Nishikori 1, Wimbledon 2013 - Diliff.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on December 29, 2015. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2015-12-29. External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to 3 external links on Kei Nishikori. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://www.imgacademy.com/latest-headlines/2010-12-20/kei-nishikori-and-world-renowned-tennis-coach-brad-gilbert-form-team
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/london-olympics-2012/news/Nishikoris-medal-dreams-ended-by-Del-Potro/articleshow/15330662.cms

Please change Gay Nishikori, as well as corresponding pronunciation, to Kei Nishikori, as that is his real name. Lawrchoi (talk) 00:08, 17 November 2018 (UTC)

Kei Nishikori won the 2019 Brisbane International, his first title in almost 2 years, defeating Daniil Medvedev 6-4, 3-6, 6-2. He returned to the top 10 at the start of the 2019 season. 144.136.168.18 (talk) 12:26, 6 January 2019 (UTC)

Some idiot changed his name to "Gay" Nishikori. Must be a stupid ass Carreno Busta fan. 173.70.90.26 (talk) 16:46, 21 January 2019 (UTC)
Thank you Sro23 for the extended confirmed protection
[edit]With the heaps of vandalism and the subversion of the auto-confirmed protection of Jan 5, I had asked for extended-confirmed protection on January 19. It was declined with some reasoning that eludes me. Thank goodness you were around to finally add on to Materialscientist's initial protection. Thanks @Sro23:. Small edit needed
[edit]The lead says "He has won 11 singles titles". This has not been updated since he won his 12th title earlier in 2019. 47.54.58.174 (talk) 12:17, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
